2PIR RECEIVES A NEW GRANT TO FACILITATE THE STUDY AND THE TREATMENT OF CONTAMINANT EMISSIONS.
The grant is framed in a project designed to investigate the continuous treatment of polluting emissions of thermo-chemical processes of energy conversion, designing and developing a complete and adaptive system.
In this way, with this project, 2pir has positioned itself even more, as one of Spain leading engineering companies in R+D, both at national and European level.
The grant has been awarded by the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI), an entity dependent on the “ Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad”, whose basic function is to promote the innovation and technological development of Spanish companies. Under the project named CLEANGAS, 2pir is investigating the projection and application of a modular, complete and adaptive system for the continuous and automatic treatment of polluting emissions in thermo-chemical processes of energy conversion. The objective of this research is: study and characterization of contaminants, gas cleaning system, generation of the adaptive control and integrated centralized control system , in order to reduce emissions under the regulated maximum levels, thus improving the ENVIROMENT quality. As a result, ALL the objectives have been achieved. 
During the years 2015-2016, the project received funding of the “Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad”, in the National Plan of Scientific Research, Development and Technological Innovation, 2013-2016, and of the European Founds of Regional Development (FEDER). Expt nº. IDI-2015200.
