After a complete rehabilitation, Hotel Cala Serena opened its doors again in July 2003, right in the coastal village of Cala D'Or.

Cala Serena Hotel has been a leader in environmental policies, achieving a prize from Mallorca's Council in 2005 as the most ecological company on the island. It has also been certified by ISO 14001 and since 2007 by EMAS (Eco‐Management and Audit Scheme). Besides, has been chosen "Tui Environmental Champion" for three consecutive years and it was declared second best hotel at international level from 1000 participants and the best in Spain.
